Duality ROM/Patcher, Legendary Battery Life! [V4.0][Oreo]

Cool this made me like my XZ

This rom is the only one I've tried I'm impressed.
Went from Nexus/I phones and I hated my XZ
The battery and sluggy flicker made me feel like
the XZ is a budget phone with stock..
Have been using this think its more than doubled my XZ batterylife.. How this is possible with software is a mystery and for sure it needs skilled guys/girls to code this..
I still feel its flickery in Chrome anyone have a tips to make my web browsing experience flicker free and awesome?

you're welcome! I will resume work on this soon, I've been busy for a couple of weeks


As for chrome, it's just chrome being chrome. Use opera, it's better.

i think should leave the system picture app, because if i taken picture in lockscreen,i could not edit and delete the picture.
and sometime if i delete the picture in album from camera's interface, but it have uploaded, i have to delete it again in album.
As a comparison, when i use the official system , i can disabled the system album and use the google photo, it's no problem.

Try to delete some apps. I think that solved my memory issues. Android manage ram much better now !

I agree as I am waiting for it too
The November security patch update should arrive around the corner but it seems like we will be getting Oreo because the security patch is taking quite some time

I'm currently working on aosp, which I will wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.
It has great performance and okay battery life as long as you don't touch any settings(it's a lot more plug and play compared to duality)

But all Aosp should have some bugs , for example , the usb otg isn't work, and the figerprint ...

USB otg works. And fingerprint HAL isn't working properly, the new driver and HAL is under testing and should work soon. I will post a build.

I've just found out that there's an official 8.0 update to the Xperia xz, so I just want to ask if you can work on this one and roll out a new build for us, cuz I really love the performance that your builds offer.

Why Patcher, because it's easier to maintain, easier to update and much more convenient.
Users can choose their own customization version and can update via ftf when a new update is issued.

But, this is where I need you guys' input, do you guys prefer this new Patcher system

Or do you want the old full ROM releases. Do let me know!
