Wonder if there's a protective shield with cooling capabilities. Xperia Z would definitely benefit from that. Unfortunately there's no cover that's designed with that in mind. So if anyone experiences a cooler XZ when using a (or any) case please reply to this post!

I'm surprised myself but I've found the XZ doesn't need or deserve a case - I have a front and back protector supplied in box, and it still has no scratches. Also, I suspect it may have oleophobic qualities - the screen protectors are both hard to get any fingerprints on, and easy to wipe if they do. Not a scratch at all, nor any chance of it slipping from the very good soft touch edge.

Have you never seen one before? It's an armband, with a holder to secure your phone. You wrap the armband bit around your upper arm...? People wear it whilst running...?

Must be common in other countries. I've never seen someone do it in India.

Yeah I thought the same thing, even though I did order a case.
I use a bluetooth headset so there won't be any need for me to take the phone out of my pocket.

The cases I saw for now aren't THAT good in my opinion.
I ordered a cheap case, later on I might order another one, ones more cases are available, I might even for go for the Glas.T, side effect might be that when you drop your phone the Glas.T, it might break, where if it dropped without the glas.T nothing would have happened.

I'm not worrying about the glass breaking, the weak points are the sides, I'm worried about that when the phone falls.

This case is made of PU leather as I just got one from vanberry.com,yet the quality is reliable as well as the design. According to my experience,if the genuine leather material case often of a price above $20,this is in line with the basic cost and factory have to get some margin to maintain....
And does it fit well? I had one for the GNexus from Nillkin and had to send it back as it was just a little too narrow and did not fit.

:what::confused:
I always read about protector in a box.... is it meant the one already equipped from the factory on phone or is there any additional one beside?
I didn't see any in my box (Vodafone CZ) so iam curious if there are different boxes on the market or I still haven't found it in my box.

I bought a sim free version from Amazon, had a front and back screen protector factory applied for if the glass shatters, and a front and back scratch protector not applied.

I got the additional screen protector (maybe search better :p ) but mine is not oleophobic for sure :D
About the case i agree with you: in fact i'm buying only a pouch for some situation.
But small and resistant as the phone is, it's a very pleasure to have it in the pocket without useless covers!

Arghh, checked it again and no protectors in my box. :mad:
... If the one which are protective wrapping with prints for phone are not counted...
Different markets different f***** with customers. :-\ I would expect it to be standard accessory.

    @Joshaldo
    Hey guys just ordered my Xperia Z here in Aus. Can anyone recommend a good durable case/screen cover combo?

    Hey joshaldo im from Aus too, Vic, Melbourne
    if you want something durable go for one of the bumpers in this thread, its the best form of protection for the phone.
    an alternative is you could try either the nilkin 'protection' cover or the imak cover - link below.

    @jasminel
    @droidhd
    So ive currently got these three below
    Nillkin flip cover black

    Nillkin 'protection' cover black

    and ive got the Hard Hybrid Silicone cover black coming from 'YouSaave'

    and finally what your waiting to be briefly review;
    Imak Thin Transparent Crystal Clear Hard Case

    So the case is see through as you can see in the photos.
    it fits firmly with the xperia z; ports are easy to open - headphone jack, usb (till we get the dock)
    buttons are easy to press too.
    the case is nicely aligned with the ports and buttons;
    aswell as the speaker, lanyard, camera and flash and noice cancelling microphone hole.

    it sits nicely around the corners and protects them.
    also there is a slight 'raise'/'curb' in towards the screen -
    which means if you sit the screen flat on a table it wont scratch the screen protector/screen as there is about 2mm space between
    the screen and edge of the case when its on the table

    also since the case is see-through you can notice slight scratches on the back -
    mine has some already from sliding it abit at work on a table but meh.
    if youd get another color you wouldnt notice it.

    last but not least, case is easy to put on and a little fiddly to remove untill you get used to it
    anything else?

    All the cases so far haven't been great. I don't like the wallet style cases or pouches. The only good looking cases that don't hide the beauty are the poetic bumper and 'atmosphere' range but they have not been released yet and inevitable to have problems with them.Oh well, on the hunt I go
