Well that review, coupled with Shems own video review seals the deal for me, the "on the street" end user is not going to be let down by this phone.

If you are into your photography you maybe let down by the camera, but then again, you should be using a "proper" camera

Yes, i've also had a quick play with one in a 3 store last week, nothing i saw put me off, in fact after returning home from the store is when i placed my pre order.

Argh worried about battery life now after watching that review. I got rid of my nexus 4 because of battery life. My iPhone 5 gets through the day.. Hoping the Z does too..

Then again all the other reviews praise battery life :/

Just watched the video, thanks for the share! The screen issues have gone now for me and I hope for others, I was a little worried before but after having a play with it today again and watching the video I'm happy with my pre order.

The battery life might get to me after coming from a Note 2, but I'll just have to charge it more often, not a major issue! He said in the review the XZ comes with a dock in the box as standard, I assume that's depending on when you get it from?
Camera wise, I think I will be more than happy with it, it's better than my previous phones which is good, it's not a camera so I wouldn't expect amazing results... If I did I'd buy a camera!

I'm pretty impressed though with Sony's UI, the themes look really lovely, looks cleaner than Samsung TW. App draw doesn't allow folders, that's a minor as I will probably put Nova launcher on mine.

Roll on the 28th is all I say!!

Something I didn't see alot of reviews mention about phone slike the s3/n2 is death grip issues which I had with my phones and a couple of my mates s3s have the same problem. Another reason why reviews shouldn't always the be all end all when it comes to choosing a product.

Great new video review in french, goes through all the stock apps like the email one (i hadn't seen it before).

Above all, the screen looks absolutely superb throughout the entire interface

Get white , I had a look at both black and white dummy models in my local three store and glad I chose white. Black to too ordinary for my liking.


@maverick1103, i am also coming from n2, I am not concerned about anything on this phone now tbh all reviews etc and my own xperia-nce (pun and incorrect spelling intended) with the phone taken into account. 28th is just too far away I know its getting closer but still feels ages away.

I still cant like the white one..it looks kind of wierd as though ur using some kind of a back cover for a black phone. It shud have been alll white. Black one for me!

Only my mum and my GF liked the purple, I have purple shirts but that is as far as purple goes for me lol. I think purple objects are more for females tbh. I wouldn't buy two of the same phone anyway, I would most have the XZ and the M7

As the sound quality is too good my opinion is its unrealistic.

I think I agree with you, black looks boring the white seems to give it more of a premium look imho! Thanks for the share really good comparison of all colours! :beer:

I know what you mean, but I prefer to have a black screen and white back and sides.... Compared to the white iPhone I don't like the way theirs, when screen is off you can see LCD screen and sensors I think it makes it look tacky! Just my opinion though.
