Call speaker mute is somehow related to WiFi - at least in my case.
With WiFi turned off, I can't reproduce call speaker failure.

I'm also experiencing audio stuttering and (rare) data drops...

Please, list what kind of logs I should provide (logcat? dmesg?) to get this finally fixed...

When I try to open MMS with video or pictures, it fc as well. I tried forwarding the message to a friend with cm on Galaxy s3 and it worked.
But when I forward to an Xperia z1c with newest cm11 it crashes as well.

In Call Speaker
Is there any definitive fix for the call speaker issue?

If I restore to stock I have in call speaker, when I flash a completely wiped, fresh install of the latest CM nightly I have speaker for a couple of hours and then next to never. I have explored the suggestion that having wifi enabled may trigger it, but it seems to happen whether wifi is on or not.

Will flashing a custom kernel fix it? I also note the experimental Lollipop build suffers from the same issue

I notice there is a new version with recovery on CM download page, should I flash this recovery first in order to upgrade? I mostly use the built-in upgrade feature...
