[APK] NEW Google Play Store [updated]

As a previous poster stated, does this affect the official rollout for those of us who have not received it. Will that override this APK? Will future updates still work? I'm confused at whether I should apply this or not, with no ill effect.

I didn't see a reply to the previous poster's same concern...

If you install it when the real update comes just Go into settings/apps/all and uninstall updates from play store and you're back to the one that came with the phone, thus it does update.

Yep' same for me : no Films and no Books section. However, these categories can still be browse as I get Films and Books suggestions...

Actually, according to this link:

there is a version 4.1.10 which apparently fixes a battery drain bug introduced in an earlier (presumably 4.1.x) build and possibly other stuff.
