I am using this rom and every sensors are working fine except the compass. In service test, it only show yaw 0 pitch -0.0 roll 0.0. does anyone have the same problem

no that's exactly what caused the bootloop.

Now chainfire is involved in both. The sites seems to be beta and official releases.
In the old days I downloaded it from download.chainfire.eu. The site still looks exactly the same it did like 6 years ago

However the bootloop has been adressed here in op post

But in the end it doesn't really matter since Magisk is the way to go with root if you are running Lollipop or later.
