Can someone confirm this workaround on Oreo-Devices?
I´ve always the problem, that my miracast device is not connection if I start screen mirroring.
A short message appears, that told me that bluetooth-audio is deactivated while screen mirroring.
What did I wrong?

Kind regards,
Chris

As far as I know, this fix doesn't work with Oreo.

Try this one:

https://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...y-fix-t3736920

Or if you have backed up your DRM keys, restore them and Screen Mirroring should work again.

Following the process to the letter, with no errors, and verifying that "getprop persist.debug.wfd.appmonitoring" does return "1" from adb, I can start the connection to a Roku Ultra, just as before, but it fails with the same message as before, "output device is not ready or does not support HDCP". This is on a Xperia Z5c (E5823) running 6.0.1 32.2.A.5.11, where DRMfix was patched.

Any ideas of what might be different for my config?

3. restart phone.

4. connect phone to computer.

5. from " adb " :
1. type " adb shell " and hit " enter key "
2. type " su " and hit " enter key "
3. type " setprop persist.debug.wfd.appmonitoring 1 " and hit " enter key "
6. for verifying :
type " getprop persist.debug.wfd.appmonitoring 1 "
if " adb " return " 1 " , screen mirroring work well.

Model: E6603
Android Version: 6.0.1
Build: 32.5.A.1.291
Locked bootloader / Root
Worked for me too on Z3, though after connecting gives the warning message at the beginning as before but do not disconnects now and works like a charm. Now I can mirror on my tv screen everything including video.
