Explain the process step by step that you follow

Picked the 2 phones on latest Official Lollipop, Unlocked the 2, using Flashtools, installed the Official TWRP, then ROM and GApps, but one Boot and the other don't (stays forever in the bootanimation), for the last few days I tried again all over the start, flashed Lollipop on the 2 and restarted all from the beginning, same thing, only thing that I noted was, when TWRP boots in the ZL that don't boot on RR, it return an error in the Log, something like "process postrecoveryboot.sh error 2", tried all the TWRP versions in Official TWRP site, but always the same error.

But as I said earlier, I give one and sold the other, don't have access to it more, one I gave with RR installed and the other with LOS14.1

Anyway, thanks for the Reply

I found today this ROM trying to fresh up a little my old Xperia ZL. Main purpose to use it with Android Auto with mirroring function.
So, flashed the ROM, flashed the Gapps, so far - very impressed. The next thing a would like to do is to root my device. I was thinking it is already rooted by the ROM itself, but not. I've installed via the TWRP's recovery a SuperSUxxxx.zip, but was unable to boot the phone back into system. So, once again the whole process with ROM+Gapps Flash. Which would be the best way to root it? Any ideas?
