Tried install today but the zip refused to install: my device returned model number "" instead of "C6502" or such. LOL.
I was on MultiROM TWRP 3.0.0.
Anyway I followed the instruction here: https://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2522762
Now it's fine with GApps and Magisk 17.1; and apparently my recovery is now Official TWRP 3.2.

Recovery 3.2.3-0.

I tried to install the last RR v6.2., doing wipes, everything is as it should be, after the firmware, the RR logo appears, the download animation is 3 minutes and flies into the recovery. Why is this happening? I just know this is a bootloop protection and nothing more.

Tried the same on the version of the recovery 3.2.1-1 and at that time was RR v6.0. - the same picture. I thought the case in the recovery, that version 3.2.1 will not deliver Oreo, but no, it's another matter ...

Lineage 14.1 is installed and updated without crashing.

Comming frrom RR 7.x.x where the battery life seems to me very short, tried the last couple of days the RR 8.x.x. Optically a great ROM, nice design, everything fine. When it comes to installing of Android Auto, the app stops working right after opening - "Google Play Services seems to not working". Nothing helps to run AA and GPServices could not be run at all.
How should I deal with it? Done some research - seems to be a common problem, without very efficent way to solve the problem. Anyone with the same experience?
