Hi guys,
I also tested some method like a PRFCreator and after some fails and bootloops I got root on my C5503. Should work on C5502 too, but I dont have it, so you tell me if work.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible for anyone bricking their phones. By using this tutorial and any of it's content you accept that you may be flashing system critical aspects of your mobile device, and things can go wrong. By using this guide you agree to put your phone at risk in the hope of fixing it, and you take full responsibility.

If You want keep data use TitaniumBackup before flashing.

If not on rooted stock rom with recovery

1) Flash old KK stock rom via FlashTool (I recommend 10.5.A.0.230 - Can be download HERE!)
2) Make sure you have enabled USB-Debugging
3) Run XZDualRecovery installer on PC (Download HERE!)
4) Choose "3" and hit enter, if is device ask for trust PC touch yes of course

If already on rooted stock rom with recovery

5) Download PRE-ROOTED rom for your xperia (C5503 or C5502)
6) Download XZDualRecovery flashable zip (HERE!)
7) Place downloaded zip's to your external SD card
8) Restart your phone and boot into recovery
9) FULL WIPE your phone (System, Cache, everything...)(don't external SD Card of course )
Choose this
10) Choose and install PRE-ROOTED rom zip
11) Choose and install ZR-lockeddualrecovery2.8.17-RELEASE.flashable.zip
12) Enjoy Rooted Android Lollipop with working DualRecovery

If bootloop:

Go to step 1 and try it again, better wipe, and really don't try install XZDualRecovery on lollipop
or
Use THIS disaster guide from @[NUT]

Old version (DIY):

Reacting to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/xper...lipop-t3114666
Inspired by this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/xper...0-454-t3114152

1-You need old stock room with working root and recovery (if u havent rooted firmware flash firmware .230, it is good for easy rooting by towelroot)
2-Download PRFCreator, XperiFirm and Flashtool
3-Download SuperSU (https://download.chainfire.eu/696/Su...erSU-v2.46.zip)
4-Download firmware for your phone (using XperiFirm)
5-Create FTF using Flashtool (Tools->Bundles->Create and here move all thigs from folder list to firmware content)
6-Open PRFCreator and here put your created FTF, downloaded SuperSU.zip, check all thigs and click Create
7-After finished copy your new created zip firmware to your sd card
8-Boot into recovery on your old rooted rom (I used Philztouch)
9-Wipe all caches (I also format system partition)
10-Instal your lollipop zip rom from sdcard
11-Enjoy rooted Android 5.0.2

I dont have recovery now, I tryed include it to rom by PRFCreator and get bootloop, so react if some get working recovery.

EDIT: Do not try install or flash XZDualRecovery after upgrade to Lollipop, it made bootloop because there is some problem with SELinux
EDIT2: Added download links
EDIT3: Updated with working XZDualRecovery

Hope you understand my terrible English

- Flash kernel you downloaded

- boot goto recovery and wipe all (system, cache, dalvik cache, data)

- flash system zip (made by PRFCreator)

- reboot and done ( no need flash supersu again

I tested ok

Hi,
download xperifirm http://forum.xda-developers.com/cros...oader-t2834142 open it and from list select your phone and model. After select your device click on "Check all". After xperifirm finish work find customization with 10.6.A.0.454 Latest Release (for example HK - Honk Kong). Under PayPal logo you will see available firmwares so click on 10.6.A.0.454 and start download.

I'm getting an error when I open super su saying that no binary is installed and that I would have to manually re root..
I used the beta super su update.zip version 2.23 Does that make a difference?
And is there any way to resolve the error?
