Everything you need to know is located on the following thread (especially those that refers to the Oreo).

If you require assistance that's specific to your Resurrection Remix Firmware, you should be able to obtain some support and guidance within that specific Firmware Thread.

Good Luck!

Solely as a Personal Observation and Opinion...

Based upon what I've seen on Github, I do believe that @rovo89 has been working on XPosed but, it just looks like he's "either/both" not spending as much time as he used to (more than likely for personal reasons like family and such) or the challenge that has encompassed the various devices and such has been taking longer to overcome and just requires more time and work.

It does look like Rovo89 has other developers working with him as well.

I'm just personally being patient myself and I do feel that, if it takes a year for him to get it working for the Oreo (& above), then I'd prefer that over his releasing something to satisfy users that can potentially do more harm than good.

If he needs more time, then by all means, he can take all the time he needs.

~This has been a public service announcement... LMAO!

Hello, this is my first post. I need some help and this should be the right place to ask...
Just purchased Moto X4, removed stock crap, installed TWRP 3.2.2.0, then LineageOS 15.1 from the forum ([ROM][Unofficial][20180804]Lineage OS 15.1 [payton]). Everything works, except i can't install Xposed. The problem is exactly the same as the one discussed on Xposed github "Can't flash Xposed zip on Nougat: /system could not be mounted #384".

Basically, /system is mounted under /system/system and there is an error 1 if you try to install from TWRP: "mount: can't find /system in /proc/mounts".

The proposed solution is to install it form Xposed installer, but with both versions 90 beta 2 and beta 3 installer shows the same error: "cp: can't create ' /system/xposed.prop' : Read-only file system
Error 1 occurred".

Is there any other way to make installation work?? The OS without Xposed is just not worth it...

Thank you in advance.

I am having a problem with FakeGapps on stock Oreo 8.1. Magisk 16.7 and Xposed 90.2 beta3 installed and working properly.
FakeGapps 1.1 or 2.0 install properly (separately installed), but neither will run -- generating tons of Xposed log messages.

FG 2.0 seems a bit less unhappy with these Informational messages:

08-06 09:32:08.884 I/Xposed ( 1338): FakeGApps: caught the NullPointerException
08-06 09:32:08.888 I/Xposed ( 1338): FakeGApps: caught the NullPointerException
08-06 09:32:08.995 I/Xposed ( 1338): FakeGApps: Adding the package name service failed.
08-06 09:32:09.072 I/Xposed ( 1338): FakeGApps: caught the NullPointerException
this last message repeats and repeats.

FG 1.1 has these Info and Error messages:

08-06 09:12:36.997 I/Xposed ( 1344): FakeGApps: Adding the package name service failed.

Is anyone else running this successfully with Oreo 8.1?
Any ideas what might be going on?
