The following thread may be a helpful solution:

Though the title does have "MT6582" in it, I've seen it work out for other devices.

I can't guarantee that it's a perfect fix for you but, it's an option that's out there.

Good Luck!

Does this have or need uninstaller (status toggle is enough to bypass safetynet) )? If yes, where is it? Just for FYI, using universal safetynet fix magisk module along with this.

Toggle and reboot is usually enough, if up to date magisk is installed.

@DVDandroid: There is a bug while using SDK 25: Tap on download a some module shows the download progress, but after that there is a message it could not be saved & installed due to permission problems. Take a look with an explorer in the folder of the message shows the apk is not availble. I think another cache-directory should be used with proper permissions, eg get[External]CacheDir()
All with problem a newer version of a module is not visible: In Android settings force close the app, clear cache (of the app) and then open it again. This is the same bug the kitkat-installer still has!

You might want to download xposed module from the magisk app.

I tried but it resulted in a bootloop...
EDIT: I now have installed it from this app (systemless version) and the phone seems to have booted up. It's now optimizing all apps.
