"For Xiaomi devices, someone said there is conflict between module SELinux policy and system policy, which will cause boot loop. You can try disabling*post-fs-data.sh*and execute it manually after reboot and set SELinux permissive."
and then try this :
after install riru-edxposed (YAHYA or Sandhok), reboot, then if you got "fastboot" mode, reboot to recovery and then go to file manager, go to data/adb/modules/riru-edxposed then search "post-fs-data.sh" (you can delete it or rename it). Then Reboot.
if you use stock kernel then you must have SELinux Permissive (you can google it app to make SELinux Enforced to Permissive).
but if you use custom kernel with SELinux Permissive then everything going to be OK.
I was try Sandhook and YAHYA, on my dipper (Mi 8) boot normaly and Edxposed working perfectly on my ROM (Xiaomi.EU 9.10.11, MIUI11 with Android Q)
I prefer use YAHYA version, since Sandhook have issues with force closed Camera etc. but you can try your self.
