I wouldn't recommand you do "beta tests" or any others on your HTC One. Mainly, it has a non-replacable battery.
If you could, upload your debug.log here so I can see what's wrong.

I want to run it at least once because my battery doesn't seem to be calibrated. Where exactly can I find the debug.log (or generate it)?

Sure, follow these steps,
1) Turn on Bluetooth, GPS, Wifi, Maximum Brightness and set screen timeout to never
2) Enable this module
3) Reboot
4) Wait for your battery to drain completely
5) Charge and repeat

You'll have to repeat this cycle until your battery gets killed permanently

(This is a joke, please don't do these)

My phone is a DROID4 recently upgraded with an extended battery (3800mAh). Since it is over 2 times the power, I had expected 2 times the batter life. However, I have been getting only slightly better than stock performance out of the extended battery.

So this weekend I applied this module & began the process of letting it discharge. I hit 1% at 6:03 pm Saturday nite. I played Ingress for about an hour & browsed the web for another hour before calling it a nite. The phone was still at 1% when I woke up. This leads me to believe that there is more life to be had than what I've been getting if I can go an additional 14 hours at the 1% mark.

I farted around on the phone playing this game & that just trying to kill the battery & I finally did so @ 8 am Sunday morning. I fully charged (with the phone off) back to 100% & then powered it back on & continued my normal usage. I plugged it in last nite @ 40% with maybe 8 hours use. Today will be my first real test but my experience so far has been no real noticeable improvement. Is there something I should have done differently?
