Hi all.

Stock GMail app allows users of third party (ie. non-gmail) email mailbox providers to attach files up to 5MB per mail which is absolutely too little and makes the app useless for those who send emails with attachments from various accounts, forcing them to install other software. This little simple module increases the limit up to 25MB. Now you can use GMail app for all your accounts without this disturbing disadvantage.
Tested against GMail 5.1 on both Android 4.4.2 (Touchwiz) and 5.0.2 (CM12).
If you have previous GMail version and the module is not working you can update GMail from here:
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-...-apk-download/

It is potentially (not tested!) working with previous GMail versions from the 5.x line, MAY work for future updates (I'll try to update if needed).
Module provides no UI at the moment.

Installation:
- install the apk
- enable module in Xposed installer
-reboot
-enjoy

I'm pretty sure that at least for third party POP3/IMAP e-mail providers (which are supported by gmail app since 5.x) it's 5MB...
Changed the description so this is clear now.

No it won't impact Inbox in any way. It affects only GMail app.

Well then the next question should be obvious. 😆 Does inbox have the same limitation?

This module is for the third party email that Gmail now supports. Using a Gmail account in the Gmail app already supports 20mb attachments, but the others (exchange, I map, etc) do not support attachments above 5 mbs.

Inbodoes not support 3rd party such as such as corporate, this mod this necessary for Inbox.

Can you describe the limitation a little more so I can try to troubleshoot the problem? In particular, can you give an example of file types thet are impossible to download via gmail app when sent to third party email?
