MinMinGuard v2.0.7 is the most recent version of this module that actually blocks ads on my device. I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with the Pixel Experience 9.0 (Pie) custom ROM. I also have Magisk, Riru and EdXposed installed. It's interesting that people here say that the newer versions of MMG work with the YAHFA version of EdXposed. I uninstalled the SandHook version that I previously had installed and switched over to the YAHFA version to test out MinMinGuard but my results remain the same. No MMG version newer than v2.0.7 blocks ads for me.
At least one other user (serpent android) has reported the same behavior in the reviews section of this module in the XDA Labs app.
Here is that user's review from June 5, 2019:
"The new update just broke minminguard. It is unable to stop ads now. Had to revert back to v2.0.7. Plz fix."
