You could start by posting a screenshot of the Xposed Installer. It should tell you if it is installed or not and if its active or not.

Have you maybe forgotten to activate your modules after the reinstall?

Now xposed installer shows that it is activated, but the modules still do not work

Try to get a log and see if something is wrong there. Install a logcat reader and look for errors.

You could try this https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...postcount=1182 post 1182.
Should be like this: after installing xposed module and activating it in the installer, try clearing cache and dalvik/art cache
Good luck!

Just to confirm, using this version of Xposed with Magisk on a Samsuns S8 (7.0) wont pass safetynet (As in, blocking **** like pokemon go, pocket camp, fire emblem heroes etc from loading)

You can't pass it with any version of Xposed on any device, it is also mentioned in the first post. If you need to pass, you can easy disable Xposed and then enable it.
