Systemless was a bad choice of naming, it basically means it was not flashed via recovery and fully system deep, it was installed using Magisk and could really easily be toggled on and off in Magisk Manager. Obviously on newer versions of Android, edXposed and other options are able to use some hooks and not touch system files, but for people who are still on Oreo, like myself, this is the best option.
