Just a heads up, on G4 active i537 with 5.0.1 deodexed stock rom OC7 flashing xposed-v89-sdk21-arm, the one suggested in the apk results in bootloops and inability to get into recovery mode. I'm going to repeat the process and try v75, this one and let you guys know.

Can anyone else with a s4a post which version worked successfully?
Thank you for the work!!

Do not use my uninstaller for v75 and up.[/B][/QUOTE]
The rom I'm running has your v75 preinstalled on it it's not working. Could I use an uninstaller and just reflash the xposed v75 again?

@jerryspring, never quote the OP. Quite unnecessary. Could've just tagged him, like I did here.

Tagging works fine, please edit your post and remove the unnecessary quote, as per XDA rules.

Hello,

I have tried all framework versions, but the cwm recovery always says "Installation aborded".

Now I read again your entire posting and I find a little hint there:
"Every ARMv7(32-bit) Samsung Lollipop Android 5.0 deodex'ed firmware should work."

So maybe my rom is not deodexed??? How should I know?!
That's very annoying

I tried to find out how to deodex a rom, but the developers of the deodex tools don't post clear instructions. I am only a user, not a IT specialist

Can I deodex a Nandroid backup of my rom? Or must I deodex the original Lollipop rom and then install everything again?

When I extract the orig SGS4 Lollipop Rom, there are no Subfolders. So I can not choose a "System" Folder to deodex.

Where can I find instructions how to deodex the Rom??
What must I do??
Is there a step by step manual somewhere?

Thanx for infos,
Foh

CWM? That died years ago. TWRP is what you need. Also Xposed has moved on since deodexing days.

I'd suggest installing magisk xposed:

Why???
I don't like TWRP, because it always makes problems when I try to install / clone a TWRP backup from one phone to another.
With CWM there are no such cloning problems. And so far the old cwm by philz runs finde on the S4 Lollipop.
Why should I change??

Yes, I will try installing Xposed framework via Magisk. This seems to be much easier than deodexing.
Hope it will work out, and I will be able to load all Xposed moduls via Magisk-Xposed then.
Thanx.
