What is it?
It is an CARBON-CR-5.1-based ROM for Xperia Z3C with some Sony Official Sources. This rom is worked to be as stable as possible to be used as a daily driver.

How to install?
CLICK TO HIDE CONTENT
Turn off your device
Flash stock .291 through Flashtool
Flash a TWRP recovery through adb or ADB Run
Boot into TWRP recovery
Wipe cache, dalvik, data
Choose downloaded zip and click install it
You will see aroma on Chinese language. Don't be afraid! Choose in first section first variant .
On this page DON'T choose any variant of installing. Then click next. On next page DON'T choose all variants too.
Then wait for install
Installed! Disable auto-reboot on last page, and then click exit. Done!
Boot into system
Done!!! You've made it!!! Great bro!!!

Battery 15% fix
GoogleServices fix(Need Wipe)
USSD fix
Ambient Light Sensor fix

Known bugs:
Themes didn't work
Xperia Camera Face didn't work

Hi bro...

It is fast but, the mail application closes before logon, the keyboard closes continuously, the facebook messenger bubbles are closed. It seems that everything emerging is closed. :(

great rom but found 2 issues so far
wifi region being overriden by sim...
cant use encryption.... after inserting the unlock key the massage "setting has closed" appear and screen stays at the pagethat you have to give the encryption key (device startup ) - bad writing sry-
i have a question too :
how to recover from bootloop if i installed a theme?

Hi bro...


I flash the new update 2.1.0 and keep presentting the keyboard clossing.

I did installing clean but he keyboard it closed alone continuosly when it tipyng in text box and your restart is very delayed

I have tried with several keyboards including in the included in the rom (Chinese) and the result is the same always.

This problem does not allow the rom to be for daily use.

Pdt: I only flash the ROM zip, dont using any other mod.

I adjunt link of video uploaded by me where can see the bug.

Hi M-Rom! Thank you for this rom, there wil be a version in english?

edit:
I just read better the first thread, after aroma I can chose the language in setting I suppose. So what is the purpose of the aroma?

Anyone use Wallet Apps?

I use Vodafone Wallet and the apps said has not perms on NFC. May be other wallets apps cant run properly?

You did something wrong with the DPI, I cannot setup the phone because UI is too big

Edit: solved by pulling out build.prop with TWRP and changing line ro.sf.lcd_density=480 to 320

Edit2: something's wrong with 2.3.0. Google Sync settings force closes and the screen doesn't wake up after a call.
Rolling back to 2.2.0

Since this new release is carbon based i tried Substratum and it works:)
Xperia Themes do not work but no bootlops when applying.
Camera face does work (if it is what i think it is):eek:
Coming from previous release i made a fulll wipe from twrp (cache, dalvick, system, data); installed the rom and the "phone and google services fix" , wiped cache and rebooted.
Wifi is still a bit weak but i didn't apply the fix (not sure if it is suitable)
Also my provider answer machine kicks in a little too early when i receive calls, and it happened in the previous release too.

Xperia Camera Face should be Face Unlock feature in Smart Lock settings. Is it available?

    I do not have z3c, so I can't test it for working.
    My build is purged of chinese programs. Also I made some translations and improvements.
    Other information is here. Almost everything is the same.

    About Magisk:
    I investigated this problem.
    It seems that branch of this ROMs don't/not completely support permissive mode.
    Different attempts to configure were unsuccessful.
    Magisk requires permissive mode for working.
    On my z1c I flashed the kernel from another ROM and Magisk is working there. So you can try to do the same for z3c.
