Hello everyone, I recently made an exchange between an iphone and a zenfone2.

Using the Zenfone 2 with the stock rom (upgraded to Marshmellow 6.0.1 with Asus Update) I have noticed that the battery drain is a serious issue.

While I was making my research about solving this problem I came across with this ROM on Youtube. I have a few questions and I hope you guys are willing to help me answering them:

1) After installing this ROM, is it possible to solve the problem with the battery drain?
2) Is it possible to perform a ROOT without having a PC? My power button is not working on my phone so I had to find a way to perform a ROOT without having to press the power button + volume up to get into bootloader.

My main goal by installing this ROM is to have a better battery life. Is there anyone here that has had performed a clean install of this ROM and had succeeded with the battery problem? I'd be glad if someone could reply to my questions. Thanks in advance to my brazilian fellow who has created this ROM.

This rom was discontinued a long time ago. Try Borets stock based rom. (also available here on XDA) it is still being supported by the dev.

Stuck in boot logo

Full wiped (data, cache, dalvik cache, system)
installed the rom
then reboot
Then the phone just stuck in asus logo. (boot logo)
