No one is telling you to not use xposed. However, every custom ROM developer will tell you that they cannot support issues with xposed installed. The reason is simple: it has too much influence on the way the software behaves. This makes it too time consuming to try and get a third party app, because that's what it is , to work with the ROM.

Also, usually exposed issues get ironed out automatically over time.

No SIM 2 disable is still not working, for me the performance and the batteries is better than stock, and it fixed some bugs I was having with certain games(looking at you Mordern Combat 5)

Battery performance is not good, drain quickly to 54% although I put it there only within 4 hours.
